Description
E-Col water soluble powder contains Neomycin Sulphate which is a
broad spectrum bacteriocidal antibiotic.After oral administration it
mostly remains in gastro-intestinal tract.Florfenicol is a broad spectrum
antibiotic active against aerobic and anaerobic bacteria, either gram
positive or negative. Oxytetracycline HCl is yellow crystalline antibiotic
obtained from a soil actinomycete.
COMPOSITION
Each gram contains:
Neomycin Sulphate (B.P)………………150mg.
Florfenicol…………………………….….100mg.
INDICATIONS
E-Col water soluble powder is used to treat various bacterial and
ricketsial infections.It treats Bovine respiratory disease complex also
called shipping fever. E-Col oral Powder is a protein synthesis inhibitor
of bacteria. It is highly effective for treatment of respiratory and
gastrointestinal infections that are cause by microorganism sensitive to
florfenicol and oxytetracycline like E.Coli, Salmonella, staphylococcus
and haemophilus.
